Oggi mi è arrivata quest'email:
"Dear Corrado,
I hope this letter finds you well. It has been a mild but very wet winter so far. The spring flowers are just beginning to push their way through, which is early for us. But who knows March can be very wild sometimes so we will be keeping an eye out!
News on your online shop.
In response to some of your recent suggestions and comments we have made some improvements to your online shop.
Firstly, you will be pleased to hear that the postal method for your redemption scheme has been moved to ‘non-registered’ post. This will have the effect of dramatically reducing the postal charges on these items which I know has bothered some of you. We have also received a number of requests to allow you to redeem your points at the same time as placing an order rather than having to do it separately. We have now added this facility.
Secondly I am pleased to say that Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland can now once again order whisky. We had to stop selling to you online over year ago due to local tax rules, but I am pleased to say these have now been sorted out. So you are welcome to order again.
Also due to a number of requests we have now brought back the Laphroaig Rugby shirt (you can view it here) - quite a good time really with the six nations rugby championship on at the moment (and yes I do know the Scotland England score thank you
.
Distillery News.
We have been using the quiet winter months to make some improvements. We have created a new area for your ‘wellies’ and other attire for visiting your own plots. I will post a picture on our Facebook site. I assume most of you are fans of the site as this is where I post all of our day to day news. Very soon we will also have a brand new touch screen system up and running in the museum area so that you can collect your rent of a dram quickly and easily. Now that has to be a good idea!
If you do follow us on Facebook you will have seen the magnificent dry stone wall which has been built at our entrance. Also a fantastic new walking path has just been constructed. It starts at Port Ellen and goes right up to our entrance. It’s a really beautiful walk with great views of the hills and the rugged coastline, so I recommend any of you planning a trip here in the near future put your walking boots on. It’s only one and a half miles from Port Ellen and as a plot holder you know a warming dram of our finest awaits you!
That’s all my news for now, but watch this space – I will be writing again to you in about a month’s time...
Slàinte,
John Campbell

Direi un'ottima notizia per chi vuole utilizzare i punti FOL (volendo anche combinandoli con acquisti) senza svenarsi con le spese di spedizione!
Infatti ho appena fatto l'ordine e utilizzato tutti i miei punti!
