Its 2015 and of course that means its Laphroaig's 200th Anniversary! We have a host of celebrations planned around the world – let me share some of those festivities we have planned...
I am delighted to announce that we will be releasing a special edition anniversary whisky that is very close to many of your hearts, Laphroaig's much loved (and missed) 15 year old. We have had literally thousands of our friend’s asking if this could be the Anniversary special edition, and naturally we listened.
The first 2,500 bottles have been made available to The Friends of Laphroaig via your online shop (only one per order I am afraid) from 2nd March until end of stock. You can buy it here now.
In other news, stay tuned for further instalments of our “Opinions Welcome” campaign. We are showcasing the most witty, entertaining and innovative opinions that lovers and haters alike share with us on a daily basis. Whats more, you may even see me pop up in a cameo role.
We love hearing your thoughts and this year will be rewarding the 200 most creative opinions with the opportunity to not only have your opinion permanently displayed at the distillery but Vicky and I will personally be selecting 10 of you plus a guest to join us in Islay in September to attend Laphroaig Live.
